Huron

When do I get my Orientation Kit (O-Kit)?

If you are an off-campus first year student, you will receive your O-Kit on September 1stat Off-Campus Day. If you are a resident living at Huron, you will receive your O-Kit on September 2ndwhen you arrive on campus for move-in. 

Upon arrival to campus, a Huron Soph will meet you in the parking lot and direct you to where to go next for check-in. All Huron students participating in Orientation Week will receive an email with details about the week.

When Do I Get my Student Card?

When you arrive for move-in, you will be asked to check-in where you will receive your Western One card, residence room key, and O-Kit.

King’s

I am a King’s student, where do I pay my O-Week fee?

King’s students pay their O-Week pass fee through King’s Student Finance, where all other fees are paid.

Can King’s students participate in O-Week events at Western?

For sure!  There are events at King’s (like Academic Day, and Love@King’s), and King’s participates in all the Main Stage events at Western (Opening and Closing Ceremonies, concerts, One Love).  All Western and Affiliate students can attend events across campus.

Where is my first stop during Orientation Week?

Start at King’s.  You can pick up your O-Week kit and bracelet on Labour Day (Sept. 2) and throughout the week. There will be lots of introductory events on Labour Day for residence students and Off-Campus students.

Can King’s students use the late-night shuttles?

Absolutely!

Where I can find the King’s O-Week schedule?

The schedule, once it is ready, will be posted at King’s O-Week Info.  The Western schedule provides a great overview of Main Stage events and an overview of what is happening on campus, and the King’s schedule provides all the details.
